Terms of Service

Charges and Payment

Payment terms for all invoices and services are strictly 30 days from date of invoice.
Payments are made one month in advance for all services.
Payments for Hosting Service will be charged yearly, payments are made 12 months in arrears
Late payments are subject to an additional charge per month

Use of Service

You agree not to use the service to: Upload, post or otherwise transmit any Third Party Content that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment. Promote or provide instructional information about illegal activities, promote physical harm or injury against any group or individual, or promote any act of cruelty to animals.

Refunds

On receipt of a valid cancellation notice, a invoice we be issued for final payment of hosting service.
A cancellation notice must be received prior to the relevant Renewal Date in order for a cancellation to be effective and processed prior to a renewal payment being taken.
For all other services cancellations and refund will be in accordance with the cancellation terms laid out in the Main Terms and Conditions: Supply of Services and Term, of this document.
Cardholders can expect a response to email and telephone enquiries within a maximum of 48 hours.

Termination/CancellationNotice

You must inform Goldenleaf at least 1 month before your billing date if you intend to cancel.
This cancellation request should be made directly to Goldnelaf in writing, and in accordance with the cancellation terms laid out in the Main Terms and Conditions: Supply of Services and Term, of this document.
Failure to do so will result in your account being charged for one extra month.
If payment is late you will be issued a “Disconnection Notice” if not paid in 7 days of this all technical support will be suspended, IP transit disconnected and a £100 reconnection Fee charged.

Quote

An quote is an accurate indicator of cost but is not a legally binding contract on any party involved in its production.
In order to verify a quote, confirmation will be sent by e-mail with a full proposal of work involved after discussion with a qualified customer relations advisor.
Before this point Goldenleaf reserves the right to amend or change the costing of the quote due to changes in the external cost of work involved in the final product.
In filling in the quote form and submitting it you are here by showing an interest in the subject and are therefore giving consent to be contacted by phone or e-mail to discuss the quote further.

Internet Domain Names

Goldenleaf Web Soultions registers domain names with HostingUK.Net Internet, who are Nominet accredited registrars and provide domain name registration services. Domain names will be registered with the IPS Tag INTERNETENG If, after registering one or more domain names that are included with any Goldenleaf Service package, because of a customer's incorrect registration of a domain name or otherwise, member chooses to delete a previously registered domain name and subsequently register one or more additional different Domain Names, Customer will be charged the resulting Domain Name registration fees. Member will be listed as the registrant and administrative contact in connection with Member's domain name. Member hereby authorizes Goldenleaf to list itself as the billing contact, technical contact and name servers in connection with Member's domain name and to take any actions Goldnlead deems appropriate in those capacities. However, upon termination of the Service, Goldenleaf will immediately cease acting in those capacities including switching registrars. After such time, Basespace will not be responsible to forward any notices, emails or other correspondence to Member or to take any other actions in connection with Member's domain name. Member will be solely responsible for all ongoing fees, as well as removing Basespace as the billing, technical contact and name servers in connection with Member's domain name. An outgoing transfer fee of £35 (+V.A.T at prevailing rate) will be applicable to domains being transferred from HostingUK.Net / Goldenleaf Web Solutions.

Notice

Statements, notices and other communications to Member may be made by mail, email, postings within Member's account or other reasonable means. Member shall be solely responsible for updating the account's registered email and postal address. Goldenleaf shall not be responsible for any undelivered notices caused by Member's failure to update the account information. Goldenleaf may also provide notices of changes to the Agreement or other matters by displaying notices or links to notices generally on the Goldeleaf Website. Member should refer to the Member Support page of the Service for information on how to contact and/or provide notice to Goldenleaf.

Proprietary Rights/Software Licenses

Member acknowledges and hereby agrees that the Service and any software and website designs used in connection with the Service (the "Software") contain proprietary and confidential information that is protected by applicable intellectual property and other laws. Member further acknowledges and agrees that content contained in sponsor advertisements or information presented to Member through the Service, advertisers and/or Discussion Boards is protected by applicable copyrights, trademarks, service marks, patents and other proprietary rights and laws.

Contributing material with the intention of committing or promoting an illegal act is strictly prohibited.
You agree to only submit materials which are your own original work. You must not violate, plagiarise, or infringe the rights of third parties including copyright, trade mark, trade secrets, publicity,privacy, proprietary or personal rights.

If any of these terms are determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable by reason of the laws of any state or country in which these terms are intended to be effective, then to the extent and within the jurisdiction in which that term is illegal, invalid or unenforceable, it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and the remaining terms shall survive, remain in full force and effect and continue to be binding and enforceable.
